Mick Collins started playing Bass in High School, in the early 90's, and played in Big Bands and Jazz Bands.

He started gigging straight out of school with Heavy Metal and Hard Rock bands, and moved to the Gold Coast in 1995, where he played, and recorded two albums with Hard Rock / Punk outfit "Tooth".

Mick has played with and supported many high profile artists in the music industry such as "Chocolate Starfish", "The Poor", as well as "Troy Cassar-Daley & Tania Kernaghan" in 2008 with TCB.

Mick was the Bass player for 5 years in the highly successful band, "Verusive". In that time, they recorded one album and a film clip. Mick also worked in many Recording Studios, including Assault Studios, and SAE Studio 301 in Byron Bay, as both a session player and session engineer.

He joined The Tyson Colman Band, in 2008, and has been performing with them ever since, including playing Bass on several tracks of Tyson's "Breaking Free" Album.

Mick’s versatility and adaptability for playing all styles of music, as well as his extensive Front of House, Sound / Mixing experience makes him a great asset to the band.
